Submitted by: Roman Hrytsak, a bird carver trying his hand at doing a Victorian style rocker. The project was started after the long weekend in May and was completed October 8, 2000. The wood used in this project is as follows:

• Body block - New Zealand pine
• Head, stomach, and back boards - Ochoo, a South American softwood
• Legs - Hackberry
• Leg and neck muscle extensions - Obeche, African softwood, very porous and light, but smelly
• Hardware, saddle, etc. came from Gordon's craft woods.
