After final sanding wet down with water to raise grain and resand when dry; 2 coats of Miniwax wood finish red oak 215; fine steel wool; 3 coats of Miniwax wipe-on poly with fine steel wool between coats; fine steel wool with Duffy's elbow grease and buff with soft rag; after several days several coats of Antiquax original wax polish and buffing with soft rag.
