This rocking horse was carved from poplar using the Dew pattern for the "Red Rocker", found in his book...the bow rockers are oak and are also in Dew's pattern, but ar for the small horse...the legs are an adaptation of the small horse pattern, but are in the syle of the red rocker...the mane and tail are made form nylon macrame rope...because of the simplicity of the lower body, this horse goes together very quickly - Submitted by: Joe Daly
