This is a photo of the large horse that I finished this year. This is the fourth one that I have made ( and the largest), all for our grand-children. I prefer the natural finish of the wood as opposed to the gesso finish, as you know you have to be a lot more careful of the joints. It is a very rewarding hobby that I have come to after retirement and it certainly occupies me during the long Alberta winter.
